147 rooms, Wi-Fi, lanais on most, microwave and empty fridge, coffee maker, washer/dryer in some others use coin-op laundry, daily maid only if you pay the daily rate and local calls are an extra $.50. So what are they--a hotel or a condo? They're a condotel with rooms owned by individuals, so expect variations among the rooms. If you don't expect squat for service here, you won't be disappointed. Many rooms are dumpy and not worth the price. Consider the other offerings in Hilo. Rooms (around 300 sq. ft.) are $94-$149, kitchenettes (which only add a hot plate--woo-wee!) are $94. The grounds were in need of tlc on our recent visit.
