14 rooms, coffee makers with free coffee, free Wi-Fi, no tv or phones (except in cottages), lanais on some, restaurant, centrally heated, fireplaces in some, hot tub. Opened in 1938 as a ymca youth camp, this quaint lodge was converted in 1986 by Albert and Lorna Jeyte. (He was a make-up artist on Magnum P.I.) The whole thing is very well done. There are different types of rooms, such as the Honeymoon Deluxe (very romantic), Hale Maluna building (snug rooms with fireplaces and incredible skylights in the bathrooms) and two cottages. The grounds are lush and well-tended. The staff is top-notch. Full breakfast is included in the price. Rooms (225-400 sq. ft.) are $155-$170. 2/2 cottages (800-1,000 sq. ft.) are $185-$195.
