The best selling guide to the Big Island... Hawaii "My wife and I went to Hawai'i back in September, and your books proved to be the best guides we found, bar none. The information was accurate and the way you mapped things out was perfect. I have continued to recommend to people that are going to Hawai'i to pick up your books and check your Web site for updates. Thanks to your books, we had the best vacation we have ever had, period. Both books were fabulous, and I still read them just to get a taste of what we experienced. Keep up the spectacular work!" |
Kona Seaspray (808) 322-2403 78-6665 Alii Dr. ![]() 10 units, pool, spa, free Wi-Fi, bbq. This consists of two separate (and pretty different) buildings, the larger one and the smaller one. At press time they were renovating the Seaspray building. They had sold the units in the Reef building as condos and made some long-needed improvements. With their glorious location almost across the street from Kahalu'u Beach Park, this is a good place to stay if you have any interest in swimming or snorkeling. (Easily accessible, convenient and with good underwater scenery, Kahalu'u is the most user-friendly snorkel spot on the island.) Units are decent-sized, and the poolside bbq makes a great spot to congregate after a day of exploring. Between the two, we prefer the Reef units. Until they finish remodeling the Seaspray units, we can't recommend them. 1/1 and 1/2 units are $113-$156, 2/2 units are $128-$170. 3-night minimum. |
